The Board of Missions has three departments which establish and implement mission policies in the following subjects.

 

1. Domestic Mission Department:

  • church planting and church growth
  • developing the models of worship, liturgy and order
  • peaceful reunification mission and humanitarian help for North Korea
  • military mission

2. Social Mission Department:

  • police and prison mission
  • rural mission.
  • environmental mission.
  • mission for the poor, oppressed and isolated
  • mission for foreign immigrant workers.
  • ecumenical relations

3. Global Mission Policy Department:

  • training of missionary candidates
  • selection and sending of missionaries
  • supervision of missionaries and their welfare
  • cooperation with the mission societies and missionary training institutes
  • mission relationship with other churches

4. Global Mission MInistry Department:

  • training of missionary candidates
  • selection and sending of missionaries
  • supervision of missionaries and their welfare
  • cooperation with the mission societies and missionary training institutes
  • mission relationship with other churches

5. Missionary support Department:

  • training of missionary candidates
  • selection and sending of missionaries
  • supervision of missionaries and their welfare
  • cooperation with the mission societies and missionary training institutes
  • mission relationship with other churches
